Help fight the junk email:
- If you get an e-mail message and you do not know who the sender is — DELETE it. Although most junk email is only junk, an email message could contain a virus.
- Never reply to any junk email message. Do not try to unsubscribe, or click on any link in a junk email message. Upon doing so, it will only confirm to the mailer that your email address is valid. It may even cause you to receive more junk.
- If you send email to a large number of people, you should use the BCC (Blind Carbon Copy) field in the email. This hides their address/addresses.
- If you forward an email message, you should delete the addresses of previous recipients in the message.
