In the year of 1996, the company Bangladesh Online Limited (BOL) was incorporated. Its commercial launching of internet services took place in 1999. In 2000, the company became public and its shares started trading in Dhaka Stock Exchange and Chittagong Stock Exchange from 2001.

In 2009, Bangladesh Online Limited was merged with Bangladesh Export Import Co. Ltd. (BEXIMCO), country's largest private sector corporate house. Since then BOL is officially known as IT Division of BEXIMCO. However, the name "BOL" still is a synonym of high quality internet services in people's mind and it represents as a brand name of our IT services.
